Artist's Comments
Another innovation based on work in industry, after my “Doc Ock” [link]
 It’s drawn by referring the album cover of a Hong Kong artist, Miriam Yeung, entitled “Unlimited”. I just add some rose designs to enhance the concept of the album. The idea is to show two sides of women nowadays: they can be very strong, independent, self-protective and responsible to their family, while sometimes they can be very gentle (especially when with their lover  ). I think roses are suitable to describe the women because roses, unlike other kinds of flower, may look weak in appearance but they have torns to protect themselves.In this final work, lots of changes are made (compare to my sketches) – not going to mention here. And, finally, I get the emotion right!  Spent me around 30 hours and thereabouts. Mixed media of acrylic, Chinese ink and color pencil on illustration board. yea, you are not mistaken. she is described as "tomboy" coz her appearance looks like a "boy" (guy).
Thanks for compliment. I think it's well done too; i tried a lot of new things in this work - such as using chinese ink with acrylic, composing 2D graphic in 3D portrait, and using vignette in my composition. too bad i only get 1 fav.

Yea.. only the illustration board already RM5.50. Plus the paints and inks (and also water bill!), i think it's already around RM10 spent for the artwork.
